We like ideals, but we’re realists.
Resource Center’s practical and real-world work has grown out of one man’s own philosophical project: founder & president, Ken Dunn, believed that it was possible to change a community using whatever resources were available—be it discarded material, vacant space or human labor and creativity.
The Resource Center has always had a unique perspective on the state of society and the role of a non-profit. We generate our programs by acting on what is right in moving society toward equality and sustainability, rather than by doing what is immediately financially profitable. The virtues we aspire to, equality and justice, appear more achievable, as they are integral to our organizing principle and to our daily operations.
You too can be part of this, find out how you can support Resource Center’s work.
